Computer Aided Design 1
One Term Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective
Prerequisite: Introduction to CAD
Students will learn CAD techniques and 3D CAD modeling through the use of Creo Parametric 2.0 design software. Units in this course cover 3D Solid Modeling, 3D Solid Sectioning, Multi-view Projection, and 3D Rendering. Students that successfully complete the Computer Aided Design course will be able to produce complex, accurate three-dimensional solid models that contain various rendered, geometric features while adhering to proper drafting standards and techniques.
