One Term Grades 10, 11, 12 Elective
A comprehensive study introducing students to the activities involved in the design and planning of communities. Emphasis will be focused on all facets of construction including: the preparation for building, the design, engineering, and construction practices used in residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Demand and site factors as related to developing housing, streets, transportation systems, recreation areas, shopping centers will also be studied. A storage shed will be constructed as a class project.
