One Term Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective
Students will be introduced to the to two disciplines in the engineering field through hands on experiences. Students will learn about the engineering design process and utilize the multiple steps to research, design, construct, test, and redesign an airplane and a balsa wood bridge. Students who complete the course will be able to apply the steps of the engineering design process to everyday problems and walk away with a better understanding of two disciplines within the engineering field.
