Level Two Child Development course – Successful completion of a Level One Child Development course is required.
Up to 3 college credits from selective colleges are available. The combination of courses, independent work and a skills test must be completed to earn a credits certificate.

Discover how a child develops from birth to age 6, along with the occupational practice of being a caregiver. In this class you will make learning materials and evaluate equipment appropriate for infants, toddlers, and school age children. This course is designed to learn economic issues involved with a child’s needs, acquire skills in planning and directing the activities of children, study basic child psychology, understand socialization of children and handle behavior problems. Students will plan, conduct, and evaluate a two-week preschool during class.
