Earth and Space Science
One Term Grade 9 Required
Required for Class 2026 and beyond and students in earlier graduating classes who did not complete Physical Science A when it was offered.
In Earth and Space Science, students will analyze data and information gathered from our planet and the universe. Students will use models and data to critically analyze the findings that lead to the understanding of the interior, the surface, and the age of planet Earth. In addition, they will explore the interactions between celestial bodies in the solar system and how we can use these celestial bodies to learn more about Earth and the formation of the Universe.
