Meteorology

Grades 11,12             Elective

Prerequisite: Physical Science A & B

This course focuses on the study of the atmospheric environment through the use of current meteorological data. This class incorporates a holistic concept of Earth from oceanic, atmospheric and terrestrial water problem-focused perspectives. It is also a course that investigates the mass and energy flows associated with the global water cycle, and with related issues. It will show how these concepts affect the weather and climate around us.

A student interested in taking Meteorology must receive prior permission from the teacher.
