Physics A & B

Two Terms              Grades 11, 12            Meets Requirement 

Prerequisite: Algebra 1 & 2 

Recommended: Completed Algebra 3 

Physics is a course to provide a background necessary for college physics and is designed to foster an understanding of force and motion; work, power and energy; wave transfer and optics-electricity, as well as to develop the ability to apply hands-on and mathematical problem solving to physics to arrive at sound and logical conclusions in the laboratory and classroom. Physics is recommended for the college bound student interested in science, engineering, math or related professions. This course meets the Physics/Chemistry credit requirement for graduation.
