MN West Body Structure & Function

Concurrent College Credit Course w/MN West (3 college credits) This is a Career and Technical course, credits may transfer to institutions other than MN West. 

This builds a foundation for careers such as medical assistant, phlebotomy, health information technology, medical secretary and surgical technologist.  
The successful completion of this course will earn you 3 credits through MN West Community College. Introduces the study of human anatomy and physiology. A study of body organization, chemistry, cells and tissues leads into exploring the normal structure and function of each body system. Emphasis is also placed on terminology and abbreviations. Successful completion may allow students the opportunity to register for additional concurrent enrollment courses without having to take the Accuplacer.
